Core Doctrines

We believe Jesus Christ was born of the virgin Mary and lived a sinless life on earth. He was the perfect example of how to live in relationship with God on earth. We believe the sacrifice of Jesus Christ on the cross is the one and final sacrifice for the sins of mankind. The only way to be forgiven of our sins (wrongs) and receive eternal life with God is acceptance and obedience of the message of Jesus Christ. (Matthew 1:23, John 3:16, Hebrews 5:9, Hebrews 7:28, Romans 10:9–10)

Divine Healing.

We believe that Jesus Christ’s power to heal is seen in the Gospels and is available to all believers through his sacrifice. The church is to lay hands on the sick and pray the prayer of faith for an individual’s divine recovery. (Isaiah 53:5, Acts 3:6–7, James 5:14–16)

Baptism in the Holy Spirit.

We believe in the presence of the Holy Spirit indwelling each believer and empowering each for a Godly life. We believe in an initial experience of Holy Spirit baptism and an ongoing experience that provides a Christ-follower with power for living, understanding of spiritual truth, and spiritual gifts to build up the Church. (Matthew 3:11, Acts 1–2, Romans 8:11, Galatians 5:22, 2 Peter 1:3–11)

The Second Coming.

We believe that those who have died in Christ will be united with those still alive when Christ returns. Following this will be the Millennial Reign of Christ, the Final Judgment, and finally the fulfillment of a new heaven and a new earth. (Acts 1:10–11, 1 Thessalonians 4:16–17, Revelation 20–22)
